Fašank in Strání is as beautiful as it gets and it’s an event to experience. The festival is usually a 5-day-long celebration featuring many folcloric performances, a crafts market and cultural program. This year, for obvious reasons, fašank in Strání is taking place online. That is great news for those of you who live far away, you can experience it remotely.

When to watch it
The streaming will be between Friday 12th of February until Sunday 14th of February 2021- Central European Time.
Program
Friday 12th of February
- 17:30 – Live streaming of the president of the festival, the mayor of Strání and aunties Kača and Běta and archive videos from Fašank 2011.
Saturday 13th of February
- 17:00 – Fašank documentary entries from the years 1991 and 2001 with the commentary of the festival president Pavel Popelka. Summary of videos from other years and a recording from last year’s fašank.
Sunday 14th of February
- 15:00 – Costume parade from your living room – life streaming for children with the mask parade hosts ladybug Baruška and beetle Míla and a fairy-tale-like surprise!
